Toca Boca mod pages are everywhere. This is how to read one before you tap download.
Walk away when
- It asks for your game login or your store password.
- It promises things the game does not even have.
- A survey, a code or a human check sits between you and the file.
- There is no word about which platform the build is for.
Good sign when
- It says plainly what the build changes, just like this page does.
- The platform choice comes first, before anything downloads.
- Nothing is typed in: no account, no card.
- The game is the only thing you end up with.
Worth knowing: a modded build lives outside the app store, so a new season of the game does not arrive on its own. You come back and install the newer build.
